MCBRIDE Family History

Recorded as MacBride, McBride, Bride, Bryde, the diminutives Bridie, Brydie, and Bridey, this is a Gaelic surname of both Irish and Scottish origins. She was the founder of the first Irish convent...

I am looking for Henry McBride & Mary McBride (Malone) whose son Bernard McBride emigrated to Australia in 1865. I cannot find any records of Henry and Mary after the birth of their children in Dundalk. I have traced one daughter to Cavan. Trying to find where Henry came from as I don't think he was native to Dundalk. Where do most McBrides come from in Ireland?
